After doubling their win streak from two to four over the weekend, Nashville SC U23 have climbed from No. 3 to No. 1 in the Premier Development League's Eastern Conference power rankings.
From the PDL:
The Nashville SC U23 are one of three perfect sides remaining in the Eastern Conference, securing a 4-0-0 record to date. In Week 4, the club defeated the Tri-Cities Otters and SC United Bantams at home. Kyle McLagan scored three goals, two against the Bantams, while PDL Top Prospect Martim Galvao provided three assists in 126 minutes of play. The club has scored 16 goals this season while only conceding four.
NSC's South Atlantic division peers Charlotte Eagles and Myrtle Beach Mutiny also cracked the top conference's top five, with Charlotte dropping form No. 1 to No. 5 and the Mutiny climbing out of the honorable mentions to claim the No. 4 spot. At the end of the season, the top two finishers in the South Atlantic Division automatically advance to the Eastern Conference championship.
Nashville currently holds a three-point lead over Charlotte in the South Atlantic and a five-goal advantage on the scoring differential tiebreaker. NSC play their first away match of the season – the first of five consecutive road games – on Saturday at Peachtree City MOBA, who the Boys In Gold vanquished 6-1 during their PDL debut earlier this month.
