Behold Martim Galvao's free kick goal from Nashville's 6-1 win vs. Peachtree City

Before they'd even had enough time to get the game clock working properly at Vanderbilt Stadium on Saturday, Portuguese midfielder Martim Galvao scored the first goal in the history of the Nashville SC U23 team. In the third minute, NSC won a free kick just outside of the penalty area, and Galvao curled the ball around the wall and out of the reach of the Peachtree City MOBA keeper.

Galvao finished 2016 as the PDL's 24th-ranked prospect after a season with the Ocean City Nor'easters. For more on his two-goal performance in his debut with NSC, click here.
